DSL is a special type of Internet Access that is always connected. Speeds from 128k to 1.5M are available with DSL. Factors involved in determining if DSL is available at your location are:

First, is the CO (Central Office) that your phone service comes from. Some of the CO's are not supplied with DSL equipment. Second, is the distance you are from that CO. This will determine the "Flavor" or speed of the DSL that you can receive. Another great aspect of the DSL service is there is no monthly recurring charge from your phone company. The only fee involved is the ISP portion.
